By using our free Älyenergia, the smart energy app, available on Google Play and Apple’s App Store, you can save significantly, as it helps by notifying you when exchange electricity prices are at their lowest. If you have an electric car, smart thermostats, or a heat pump, you can connect them to the Älyenergia app, allowing it to manage charging and heating to take advantage of the lowest hourly prices for exchange electricity.
The most affordable prices – even for wind power!
We continuously monitor electricity market prices and are always among the most affordable electricity sellers—even while selling green electricity. How is this possible? We are an agile organization and strive for minimal fixed costs. As a customer, you won’t pay for administrative expenses or property management; you only pay for the electricity you consume. The certificates of origin for 100% wind power are somewhat higher than for other options, but we want our customers to be able to choose renewable wind power at the most affordable price possible.
Origin of electricity and billing information
We only offer is 100% certified carbon-free energy. We support the protection of fish stocks in our waterways, which is why we have shifted from hydropower to other fossil-free energy sources. All the energy we sell is produced using wind and nuclear power.
Carbon-free energy means that the energy has been produced with methods that do not use fossil fuels and have minimal to none carbon dioxide emissions. Renewable energy means that the energy has been produced with a production method that is theoretically everlasting.
We bill monthly based on actual consumption. We generally send an invoice each month when the balance exceeds 10€, but at least four times a year. We prefer eco-friendly billing methods, such as email and e-invoices. We try to avoid sending paper invoices, but a paper invoice is available if you are unable to receive it via email or as an e-invoice through online banking.
